best chocolate cake 
Three years ago I was hosting my first party in my apartment. I prepared cakes, cookies and some other various "goodies". The party was great, we played games, had great food and my guests were happy. At around midnight most of the people left. It was getting late and I was so desperately waiting for them to leave, my anxiety was at an all-time high. Another hour went by and I could sense they weren't planning on leaving- an all-nighter wasn't the best idea for me. 2 AM rolled around, the remaining guests had missed the last bus and would have to stay. Because it was annoying, there was one condition that was made: no one was allowed to fall asleep, in hindsight, I realize how ridiculous that was. At three o'clock in the morning, everyone, except for one good friend, was snoring on the couch. At 4:30 we- and by "we" I mean me- had decided to start baking. After cracking the eggs, whisking the batter and opening the oven to put in a fresh batter of cake I realized all of my stress and anxieties about the party couch crashers were gone. The feeling I got when my friend took the first bite of the fresh hot moist chocolate cake was so gratifying. I knew at that moment I needed a stress-free outlet for the rest of my life and baking would be just that.
