Do Something

I am a semi-professional baker who relies on the income I derive from this part time  job to help sustain myself.  Although my expenses are small compared to a professional baker, I have empathy for the professional baker whose income has been greatly reduced during this Covid-19 pandemic.  Many professional bakers and bake shop owners still have fixed expenses that they are unable to meet, such as rent, electricity and payroll, and their diminished income leaves them on the brink of financial doom, or bankruptcy.  I will continue to be open about the hardships faced by small business, and more specifically by bakeries because of my close affiliation with them. One role of a responsible government and our elected officials is to protect their constituents and community from the negative impact of societal tragedies like this pandemic.  When other tragedies befall us, the government takes action, so this pandemic should be no different than events such as missiles being fired at civil

"one day... I'm going to make an onion cry"-Pinterest Gods  In a snippet of an article about the benefits of eating onions, I have found the better part of the article. throughout the article, the most popular keyword to my disdain was "onion/onions" (disgusting). some other keywords that were continuously reoccurring were "healthy/health, diet" which for most people are the keywords they want to see. especially when it comes to their daily diets and something they will most likely put into their bodies.  it had a very "clickbait" URL that quickly took me to their site and gave me the exact answer I was looking for. it was a clear website, unlike some others (school of communication of Bar Ilan). People need to be more careful with onions, even though they make things tastier. like my mother always told me "never trust anything that makes you cry".

what is SEO? lesson 1

I've always loved alliteration, the tune, the rhyming. it makes me happy, so when I was 20 I decided to become Batia bakes. why was that? some may ask, well during my year of doing national service I fell in love with baking. I fell in love with the fact you can take a couple raw ingredients then turn them into something delicious that people can enjoy. I love being able to give and make people smile because their souls are satisfied from a good piece of chocolate cake, or a Nutella stuffed giant cookie. after my year of national service I enrolled in a French pastry course, in a language I didn't understand. nonetheless it was the most amazing experience ever and I'm glad I was able to do it. my dream is to one day open up a bakery, I just need to figure when and how.

About me: lesson 1

"Stressed is desserts spelled backward"-professor google images: best chocolate cake  Three years ago I was hosting my first party in my apartment. I prepared cakes, cookies and some other various "goodies". The party was great, we played games, had great food and my guests were happy. At around midnight most of the people left. It was getting late and I was so desperately waiting for them to leave, my anxiety was at an all-time high. Another hour went by and I could sense they weren't planning on leaving- an all-nighter wasn't the best idea for me. 2 AM rolled around, the remaining guests had missed the last bus and would have to stay. Because it was annoying, there was one condition that was made: no one was allowed to fall asleep, in hindsight, I realize how ridiculous that was. At three o'clock in the morning, everyone, except for one good friend, was snoring on the couch. At 4:30 we- and by "we" I mean me- had decided to start bak
